INITIATIVES TEAM INITIATIVE GAMES
This variety of fun, thinking and sometimes challenging games keep your group working together physically and mentally. Great for teamwork, communication, trust and cooperation. The portability of the Games allows them to be run at various locations.
TEAM INITIATIVE COURSES
You can't get better than our Team Initiative Course for bringing out the best in your group. It takes participants through physical obstacles that require teamwork, communication, trust, encouragement and cooperation. Everyone loves it!
PARK 1
THE LOW ROPES CHALLENGE
Made up of a possible 7 individual elements, our Low ropes course is fun, challenging and diverse. Your group will get to work together as pairs, teams and individually thus enhancing teamwork, encouragement, trust, cooperation and communication skills.
ARCHERY
Our archery range has a four target, fully landscaped 25 metre range. Recurve bows are used. Encouraging cooperation, listening skills, coordination and perseverance this activity is good fun for all ages.
HORSE RIDING
Trail rides take place in the surrounding bushland, with horses suitable for beginners to the experienced. The minimum age is 13 years - children under that age may enjoy a lead pony ride.
PARK 2
HIGH ROPES COURSES
Some of our most exciting and challenging activities can be found in our Park 2 High Ropes area. These include Cactus Pole (18 m high climb), Climbing Wall (14m high climb), and Multi Vine (25 metre traverse at height of 7 metres).
PEAK EXPERIENCES
Park 2 PEAK EXPERIENCES include our Leap of Faith (14 metre pole climb, with a jump off and attempt to hit a punching ball), Giant Swing (uses group assistance, then self release to swing at heights up to 22 metres), Possum Plunge Flying Fox (16m high climb then over 200m long ride)
These activities can be booked singularly or sequentially and are the perfect opportunity for personal challenge, fear facing, team encouragement and support, and of course to get the adrenalin pumping.
PARK 3 HIGH ROPES COURSE
Park 3 High Ropes Course is physically and mentally challenging ‚ giving a real sense of achievement upon completion. Self-belaying with partner support, your group members will traverse up to 7 elements at heights of 7 metres. Encouragement, focus, fear-facing and perseverance can all be experienced through this invigorating activity.
PARK4 PHEONIX FLYING FOX
As one of Australia's longest flying foxes, our Phoenix Flying Fox is guaranteed to be a favourite with your group. The 415 metre journey through the paddocks and bushland at heights of up to 30 metres it is worth the thrill and anticipation.
It offers the perfect opportunity for personal challenge, fear facing and team encouragement..
GAMES ICE BREAKERS, Warm‚up Games
Ice breakers are the best way to begin your activity program. As a set of fun, active, inclusive games they help set the tone for cooperation, participation, safety, enthusiasm and excitement that are all part of what we offer our guests at Life adventure site
WIDE GAMES
Appropriate for larger groups, Wide Games can be played during the day or night. These games are played over a wide area involving some degree of chase. These include Camelot (2 teams chasing and catching each in an attempt to catch the opposing King) and Cluedo (selected characters give out clues to teams as they attempt to deduce who is the murderer)
OTHER FUN STUFF Raft building
Build your own raft and then sail or swim! Teams are given a selection of materials to construct their own raft and then compete with each other to cross the pool. A great activity as the weather gets warmer, it encourages teamwork, concentration, knot skills, creativity and lots of fun.
Billy carts
Racing, cheering, working together and competition are all part of our Billy Carts session. Most appropriate for younger guests who push each other along a flat race track, it is a great way to think as a team and help each other achieve set goals.
Catapulting
Teamwork, problem solving, construction - and then the fun of shooting make up a Catapulting session. Teams construct a catapult using the provided equipment. After trials, fine tuning and practice they then compete to shoot various projectiles.
Orienteering
A great way for guests to explore the site! An activity based on teamwork that involves the locating of a series of marker points within a given area with the provision of a map and control card. Orienteering can be programmed to involve a variety of options.
Animal Farm
Kids love animals and our animals love kids! Have your group visit our farm animals to brush the miniature ponies, feed the stallion, pat the sheep and learn some farming information and history about the site.
Animal Farm can have a strong educational component which includes work sheets.
It is also a great activity that can be simplified for less able groups.
Courts / ovals / bush areas / waterslide / swimming
Our beautiful site has facilities for relaxation, sports (tennis, basketball, volleyball and a large oval) and barbeque facilities. Our 25 metre pool adds to the whole summer experience (you will need a CPR trained leader or we can provide one at cost).
You will want to book our 50 metre Waterslide in the hot months. It provides safe, cool fun for your whole group.
AND FOR GROUPS WITH DISABILIES...
Life adventure site caters for all kinds of less abled groups including respite care groups and individuals with special needs. Programmed activities can be catered specifically for a number of outcomes. These activities can include Craft, Hat making and parade, mural painting, oval games and animal friends etc...
